Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jelly Bean is an adorable, playful, happy and sweet, one-year-old, four-pound, all grey Dutch-mix rabbit looking for a loving guardian.
Jelly Bean is friendly and will beg for his favorite treats. He enjoys the company of people as well as rabbit-loving dogs. He’s not sure what to make of cats yet, but I’m sure he’ll come around.
Found in Chicago’s Bughouse Square, an animal-lover found him in the bushes while walking his dog. Obviously he’s not a wild rabbit so was rescued.
He uses his litter box for the most part with only occasional accidents, but like all rabbits he does like to chew, so in my house he lives in a pen and comes out only when supervised. He is looking for a loving home as an indoor house rabbit. Rabbits eat timothy hay and a variety of salad. If you’d like to read up on their care, please visit www.rabbit.org
Jelly Bean is healthy, vet-checked and neutered. His adoption fee of $75 benefits rescued pets. If you need a whole rabbit set-up … exercise pen, play tube, litter box, carrier, hay, water bowl and litter, basically everything you need to care for your new pet for only $75. To meet and possibly adopt Jelly Bean, please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. He is currently living in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
