  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10416982

Chrissy is a sweet declawed fluffball! She is good with calm older children who know how to act around kitties, but would do best in a quiet home with no other pets.  She will blossom into the princess she was meant to be if she can be the only pet.

Chrissy was found in a trap by some people who were trying to TNR.  Soon as they caught her they knew she had to have belonged to someone.  She let them pick her up and take her in a basket to the local shelter.  They scanned her for a chip, which she didn't have and held her for 2 weeks hoping her owner would come get her, but sadly no one ever showed up.  The shelter workers reached out to FHS to see if they could take such a sweet girl.  The shelter is small and since they don't have a lot of room they are a kill shelter, so her foster mom was happy to take her in.  Chrissy is the only one who knows what happened and how she managed to get in a trap, but she is ready to find her forever home.  If interested, hurry, this beauty will be adopted soon! Fill out an application online today at with the Frisco Humane Society.

For further information please email the address in the box to the right. Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped; and current on vaccinations.

We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors.

About Frisco Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Frisco Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization and completely relies on fundraising/donations to continue our rescue efforts and provide veterinary care. We do not have a shelter, as all animals live in our homes until adopted. Our goal are saving precious lives, promoting adoption from rescue, and reducing the pet population through spay and neuter.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Frisco Humane Society is at the PetsMart in Frisco, Texas at 3333 Preston Road, Frisco, 75034 on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of every month from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. We have adoptable dogs at that time. Adoptable cats are available daily. You can view all our adoptable pets on our website

Our Adoption Process...

For dogs, we require an application, home visit, and home trial period to ensure that it's a good fit for the dog and the family. For cats, we require an application, but do allow same-day adoptions. Our goal is to find our fosters a "forever" home. Our adoption fee is $135 for cats and $165 for dogs.
