DPA’s first resident senior cat, Shirley is one of those extra special stories. After being abandoned for her age she persevered thorough some ailments and is now ready for her forever home. Shirley gets along with other cats really well but she would be a good candidate for a single-cat household too. She loves to sit in your lap while you stroke her back and loves the company of people. As they say, age is just a number and there is no better poster kitty for this then Miss Shirley. She may by 9 years old but she acts more like she’s 3! Rolling around and playing with her toys, you would never know that she is a senior. Shirley has to be on a special diet for the rest of her life but we know there is a special person out there that will want to give her everything that she was meant to have and more.
