Sadie's Story...
Hey, y’all! Sadie here. I arrived a few weeks ago, but have been healing up after some nasty dentals and flea infestations. Stupid fleas. I was also a bit skinny. I’m putting on weight and feeling better these days, so they wanted to get the “word out” about me and my availability to find my forever home.

I was very subdued when I first arrived, but that’s because I didn’t feel well. Now? I’m your typical fearless, go-get-‘em Jack girl!

I’m around 6-7 years old, but I’m very much a puppy … and I can almost fit in your pocket at around 12-13 lbs. I like playing and just hanging. I’m not that great at taking treats, but they are working with me on that. I would do best with experienced Jack parents as an only dog or with submissive males. I don’t mind letting you know who’s boss! (Hint: It’s me, of course.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Conyers Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Conyers, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Conyers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conyers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conyers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conyers paves the way for another one to be saved.
