Bosco's Story...
Bachelor Number One, Bosco, is a cuddler, and enjoys long walks anywhere, especially if there is a fire hydrant along the way! Bosco is house trained, and will graciously let you know when nature calls. Bosco has been living with three other small dogs in his foster home and getting along well. Bosco is anxious to greet his foster mother when she returns home each day, and responds well when called. Bosco is a loyal doggy, and wants to be protective of those he loves, so he will bark a bit at strangers he doesn’t yet know. Bosco is about six years old, and we think a mix of Chihuahua weighing in at about 10 pounds. He just loves to curl up on any comforter, a puppy bed, or anything soft to take a long snooze dreaming about doggy biscuits and his forever family. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Bosco, please complete an adoption application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bosco, a Toledo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
