Meet Aurora!

Aurora is a 2 year old tabby cat with super soft, long fur and absolutely stunning swirled tabby markings! She is one SWEET kitty who bonds closely and loves deeply. Aurora came to us from a local zoo, where she was found trying to hunt and take care of her three kittens; she was thin, and not doing so well on her own - we believe she may have been on her own for some time. Initially, Aurora is a little on the shy side - she will need to be gradually introduced to her new home, but will warm up to her new human companions in only a day or two. Aurora attaches easily to the people she loves and will follow you around, tangling between your legs and begging for pets with cute little meows. Aurora seems to do okay with other laid-back cats and isn't bothered by feline-friendly dogs either. She is one beautiful, sweet girl who just needs a little patience to blossom in to the sweet kitty she was always meant to be!

Apply today to meet Aurora and possibly add her to your family!: you are interested in meeting or adopting this cat/kitten, please fill out our application here: .

About Wave Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Wave Animal Rescue was created in September 2014. We are a small but growing home based foster group of dedicated volunteers.

All Wave animals are spayed or neutered and up to date on tests and vaccinations prior to adoption. Aside from these usual veterinary costs, we also incur vet bills for special needs animals such as Frosty, the little kitten who came to us blind, pregnant moms such as Lady Jane and their litters and other needs that occur.

We are always looking to add to our volunteers, whether it be new fosters, volunteers to help with adoption events, fundraising and administrative help. Donations of crates, blankets, cat food (canned and dry), cat toys, cat litter or cash are always greatly appreciated. If you would like your donation to go towards the care/vet bill of a specific cat, we will make that happen.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with our adoption application which can be filled out here:

Once the potential adopter's application is received and approved, it will be forwarded to the foster parent of the cat/kitten that the adopter is inquiring about. The adopter will be contacted within three business days regarding the status of their application and/or to set up a meet and greet.

If the meet and greet goes well and the adoption is approved the adopter will need to agree to and sign our adoption contract, sign a disclosure form, and pay our $125.00 adoption fee. The adopter will also receive a copy of the vet records of the adopted cat.
