MONTY's Story...
Great Dane cross is now ready to move on to a new home. We believe he is quite young - guessing no more than a year. - and he was not comfortable with head pats He is a happy, bouncy big boy who loves to give doggie kisses and does not mind being ruffled up a bit. He tries to play with his kennel neighbor so we think he can be good with other dogs. Held cat up to his kennel and he ignored.
He has settled quite well since he first came in and goes for leash walks some pulling.
Will need some loving care to move him along on training.
Healthy and happy pup .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MONTY, a Calgary Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
