Scout's Story...
Scout and her littermates were born in July of 2016. The sign in front of the store read “FREE KITTENS.” A fellow animal lover snatched them up to keep them safe from an uncertain future. Scout is very inquisitive, she likes to play the great detective and check everything out. She loves to climb and play on the cat towers. She is very young so a home with one of her littermates, another kitten or young cat would be best.

If you would like to make Scout a forever member of your family please apply on line at Animal Aid Foundation Adoption and Foster Application

The adoption fee is $100 and includes: spay, vaccines and FELV/FIV testing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Rochester Hills Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Rochester Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
