Patch's Story...
Patch
Age: 9 years

Are you looking for a dog that is Young at Heart and beyond sweet? How about a dog that just has the best energy and that you'll instantly fall in love with? Then meet me! Patch! I am the dog you are looking for! I came to Young at Heart when my disabled owner was admitted to a nursing home. A neighbor was coming to feed me in my home, but I was all alone in the house and not being well cared for after my owner was gone. I was so glad to get out of there! I am super duper sweet and adore everyone. I love love love to play fetch. I could play fetch all day if you would let me! I am good with other dogs, housebroken, and love to go for car rides. I'm an active guy, so I would love a home that likes to go for walks and play outside with me in a fenced-in yard. But I loooove to snuggle, too! I am a happy guy that brings a smile to everyone who meets me. I would love to find a family of my own that will love me for the rest of my life! Are you my new family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patch, a Palatine Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
