Roxie's Story...
This gentle and loving 4-year-old Boxer mama bear was found as a scared stray. Roxie is house-broken and gets along with EVERYONE, including children and other dogs. She’s a little shy at first, but once she knows that she’s safe, she warms right up! Roxie is ready to find her forever home and learn what unconditional love really feels like.

If you'd like to meet this dog, please fill out an adoption application at http://www.sarocks.org/adopt or visit us on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/sarocksorg.

The $150 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, rabies tag, heartworm test, and 1st month's flea/tick & heartworm preventative. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a San Antonio Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
