Rocket's Story...
Rocket is the all around puppy package despite being on death row for rescue! He is sweet, independent, smart and a lover! He is about 5 months old and a possible Shep/Heeler Mix whom has been great with his crate and potty training as with learning basic commands. He is athletic, likes other dogs, and enjoys all people too! Not sure on cats, but do not see an issue! He has an amazing orange colored coat and will be around 45lbs when full grown! We love his size and demeanor!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocket, a Denver Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
