Babs and Bart. Two gorgeous German Shepherds. Quickly becoming our volunteers' favorite. Such a hit at our recent event at Pottery Barn. We have no idea why they have not been adopted. Two big dogs... we get it. One of them is blind... we get it. But such an easy pair! You would have to take a second look to realize Babs is completely blind. Untreated glaucoma stole her sight. But she na...vigates so easily. And she has her Bart. We guess Babs to be about 4 years old and Bart is about 3. Both at 65-75 pounds. House broken. Crate trained. They LOVE riding in a car. A wonderful energy level. It is obvious that they once had a family. We just need to find them a new family. We will be placing Babs and Bart together. Just as it should be.

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.

About DFW Rescue Me

About Our Rescue Group...

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Dogs can be met at our adoptions events, at their foster homes, or the boarding facility where they are staying. They can also be met during the home visit.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee for dogs is $250. We required an adoption application and check both vet references and pet deposits / breed restrictions if they apply. We also do a home check prior to all adoptions.
