Tucker's Story...
Hi, I'm Tucker! I'm such a happy-go-lucky guy, I never let anything get me down. I was pulled from the shelter at 6 months old, and I'm growing up to be a big, strong guy in my foster home. I am crate trained, and will go in my crate when asked. I also know sit & lay down. My foster parents are still teaching me new things. I like to learn because that means I get to be with people! I also love to snuggle & love up to my foster parents. They say my fur is incredibly soft so they don't mind too much! I play well with my foster fur siblings. My favorite games are tug of war and keep away. My foster mom says I'm excellent when riding in a car-she just says I need to realize I'm big enough to get in without someone's help. If you need a happy-go-lucky, positive guy in your life then look no further, I'm your guy! For more on adopting, please email info@habitat4paws.org.

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a McKinney Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
