Peridot-Adopted!'s Story...
Peridot is one of Rebecca's litter of 8, born July 23, 2016, in the safety of a foster home. A very pregnant, stray Rebecca was rescued - just days before whelping - while wandering aimlessly in the middle of traffic in a very busy street. Peridot is rambunctious and very sweet. Even though she has a puppy's energy, her favorite thing in the world is to curl up on your lap. She's still a little nervous around our larger dogs, but that doesn't stop her from playing with them. Peridot is quite clever, and will do well in a family setting or with someone who's able to play games that will challenge her...and who'll let her curl up with them on the couch once in a while.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peridot-Adopted!, a Detroit Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
