❤️ Hey guys I want to introduce you to a special girl named Maddie, she is the most kind hearted sweet passive girl. Maddie is 1-2 yrs old, black lab/border collie mix. In her short life she was abandoned by people, mistreated, found stray living under a shipping container with her new born puppies. Timid and docile by nature and all she has been thru. Maddie has spent the last 5 months in a loving foster family home, with many dogs, and children. All her babies found homes long ago, and now it's her turn to find a kind gentle soul to see her and accept her for who she is, being shy and just enjoying being at home in her safe place. This angel has not a mean bone in her body, she will go to her crate and hide when scared of new things, but she has no aggression, just needs time to warm up to new people. She has bonded to her foster mom and gets so excited to see her and get love from her. Maddie is fixed, up to date, chipped, she loves other dogs of all sizes and ages, she is fine with children too. She needs a family that is fine with giving her the time and love she needs to warm up and trust and bond with them. A home that accepts her just wanting to be at home with her family. She doesn't enjoy walks much or car rides, they cause her stress. She likes to be in her safe place at home, this may change in time, but it may not. I know there is a special home out there for her with a amazing family. She is beautiful, sweet, smart, loving too. She is house trained, crate trained, knows commands, potty trained too. A ideal home would be one with another dog to keep her company and enjoy play time with her. I just know there is a special home out there awaiting Maddie. Please share for Maddie! If interested in adopting a truly sweet soul please apply at Ozziespoundpuppies.org and we can set up a meeting, she is fostered in Livermore Ca. ❤️

About Ozzies Pound Puppies

About Our Rescue Group...

Ozzies Pound Puppies is an all breed dog rescue based in Concord, CA. Our volunteers are committed to rescuing unwanted and abandoned dogs from the public and from shelters. Ozzies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives no government funds. You can help make a difference for a shelter dog by fostering, adopting, volunteering or donating.

WHAT WE DO
Every day, hundreds of dogs are euthanized in shelters across the nation. City and county shelters are overrun with stray and surrendered dogs and have run out of space, this is why they have to euthanize dogs. Dogs are only given a short time to be adopted and then they get put down. Our Rescue will take in dogs that have run out of time at the shelter and find homes for them, thus freeing up shelter space and finding adoptable dogs a new family.

Our Adoption Process...

All dogs adopted are up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped and fixed. We will assist in introductions to other family members, both human and furry ones. Our adoption fee is $275.
