You may meet and apply to adopt Gavin at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16th from 12 Noon – 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Gavin is a male miniature Poodle approximately 1 1/2 years old. He weighs 12 pounds full grown and has a cute little body with a cropped tail. Gavin's coat is non-shedding and consists of the softest, whitest curls you have ever seen. He is like a snuggly teddy bear. Gavin is young, gentle, adorably playful and quite active. He enjoys playing fetch, as well as with toys and other dogs. You can talk baby talk to him and he will get all excited and puppyish, twirling around in circles with joy. Gavin is a sensitive, friendly little guy who enjoys a gentle touch and lots of affection. He seems to crave a safe place with all the creature comforts. He would do very well as a pampered little prince. Gavin has a young curiosity about everything and revels in new toys or learning new tricks. He is a smart dog, eager to please and has a very innocent disposition. Gavin is good with other small dogs his size and has nice manners in public. He is quiet in the house and likes to simply bop around with his people. Gavin is social but he really loves the people he knows best and will be a close knit family member. He will most likely stick by your side when out in public and he likes to be carried too. Gavin was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is healthy and just starting out in life. He is a wonderful dog and should make a fine pet and companion. Gavin is ready for his new forever home today!

Gavin’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Gavin is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Karen and Family and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GAVIN, a Newport Beach Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
