Gunner is a 2yr old purebred Border Collie that was found as a stray. He loves being out doors and will play with a tennis ball for hours even if there is no one else around to play with him. Gunner is shy with new people and can take a while to warm up but once he's decided you are his friend he will seek you out for attention. When Gunner was at the shelter in Georgetown TX he spent most of his time in puppy playgroups hanging out with all his new friends and chasing a giant soccer ball around. In his current foster home he has large water troughs that he loves splashing around in and he would love the chance to go to a pond or rive. Due to his fear of strangers he is not recommended for a home with children.

About Mission Miracle K9 Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to focus on the enrichment and training of all shelter animals to enable better adoption matches, longer positive outcomes in the home, and continued support post adoption. We want animals in shelters to feel like they are at day camp not an internment camp!

Our Adoption Process...

Our fees are $125 for all animals regardless of age/breed/vetting costs.
All animals will receive age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, broad spectrum worming, and will be spayed/neutered.
We require all applicants to complete an online application and submit to reference and home checks. We review all applications on an individual basis and believe in an open adoption process. We believe in finding the best homes for our animals where they will be cared for and loved as members of the family. There is no one right or wrong way to do that and we are open to discussing all situations.
