Oscar is available for adoption. He is a sweet and happy 3 year old 8 lb chihuahua. He is a great companion and a lapdog. He loves to go for walks, play with his squeaky toys, and just cuddle with his humans on the sofa. He is an exquisite snugglebug! He currently lives in Wayland, MA with 3 small dogs and his foster parents.

Oscar would do best in with a home with someone who does not work long hours. Oscar warms up to new people up within minutes - especially if tasty treats are involved. Oscar is very food-motivated. Oscar would do well as an only dog or with another smaller dog.
Oscar is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and is neutered. He is generally housetrained but does have the occasional accident. He requires frequent breaks but will let his foster parents know when he needs to go out. Please submit an application if you are interested in adopting Oscar. His foster parents love chihuahuas and just adore this little man!

If you're interested in this dog, please complete an application at www.alldogrescue.org. His foster parents will answer any questions you may have. His adoption fee is $300.

About All Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

All Dog Rescue is an all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of Massachusetts' dogs in need and matching each with appropriate and responsible owners.

Formed in 2003 to help Massachusetts dogs in need.
Over 650 dogs rescued since inception.
20+ active foster homes.

Our Primary Goals
Membership
Recognize that a sustainable dog rescue program cannot exist without the cooperation and efforts of volunteers.

Rescue
Prevent the euthanasia of any dog which can be matched with an appropriate home.

Placement
Provide the best quality, most responsible home for each individual dog.

Community Resource
Provide support to any dog owner considering the surrender of a dog.

Our Adoption Process...

To adopt a dog from us, you must be over the age of 21. To begin the process, first fill out an adoption application. The foster provider will then set up a telephone interview to determine if you and the dog are a good match for each other. The next step is for you to come and visit the dog at the foster home. Then we will do a home visit at your residence before finalizing the adoption. The final step is for you to pick up your new dog from the foster home. Ongoing contact will be maintained with you to see how it's going and offer training suggestions and behavior advice.

The adoption fee ranges from $250-$450 for most adult dogs (decided on a case-by-case basis). This is to help defray the costs of spaying, neutering, transportation and other medical expenses. All dogs are spayed or neutered, examined by a vet, given medical shots and treated for any medical condition they may have, prior to adoption. Donations above the adoption fee are always welcome!

To apply for one of our dogs, please fill out an Adoption Application. A volunteer will respond to your application within 48 hours. If you have a question about one of our dogs, you can email us and we'll be happy to try to answer it.
