Tom's Story...
om is an amazing, big, beautiful boy who came from an animal shelter. It is hard to tell exactly how old this sweetheart is but we think he is somewhere between 4 and 6 years old. Don't think that this guy is a mellow, middle aged couch potato though because he is still full of energy and gusto. Tom loves to play and loves to be a part of the action so we would love to see him in an active home where is part of the family and not left alone for long periods of time every day. He plays well with other dogs (he even spent some time in doggie day care) so a good sized dog to hang with will certainly help curb his loneliness. We don't know how much training Tom has had but he is driven and eager to please so he would thrive in a home with someone ready and willing to put in the work to train him. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
