Journey's Story...
Journey was rescued after being hit by a car. He was kept at a local vet and at the shelter while his owners were searched for. No one came forward for him, so we rescued him and took him to our vet. His broken legs had already begun to heal incorrectly, so we are now investigating orthopedic surgery. He currently lives in a foster home and does everything a normal dog does. He is house-trained, kennel trained, and is good with the other pets in the home, as well as all people and children. He is very loving and loves to cuddle. He deserves the perfect family to love him forever. Journey is available for adoption only to a family who can provide him with the care he needs at this time. We are accepting donations for his care via paypal to pawnhandnc@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Journey, a Goldsboro Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Goldsboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Goldsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goldsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goldsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goldsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
