A Little Bit About Me

Are you looking for a special cat? Meet Seth, a beautiful Burmese mix who is looking for a special home. Seth does not see well. This does, however, not slow him down much at all. In his foster home he really enjoyed playing with wand toys and got around just fine! Read his foster 'mom's' notes for more information about this talkative and purr-machine feline.

Seth is very curious and confident and likes to explore. He is also very affectionate and loves to rub his face against you. Give him a nice ear rub and neck massage and watch him curl up against you.

Due to Seth's decreased vision, he is looking for a calm home with very set daily routines and few changes. He needs to feel secure and safe at all times.

When you first bring Seth home, set him up in his own, small room with food, water, litter box and scratching post and give him time to adjust to his new surroundings. Spend lots of time visiting him and gradually introduce him to all members of his new household. Seth doesn't lack confidence so it likely won't take long before he's ready to gradually explore the rest of his new home.

Seth is a very special cat. Are you the special someone to make him part of your home?

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
