Shea is a new addition to CARE but she is destined to be a favorite. She is doing very well with her obedience lessons and is walking quite nicely on leash, and learning to sit for treats; this girl LOVES to please. She enjoys going for car rides, is wonderful in her crate at night, and simply adores the company of everyone she meets. Shea is very social and really enjoys the company of other dogs, and she is well behaved with kitties too.
Since Shea is an adolescent pup, she needs a home that will give her lots of exercise and continue her obedience training. She is acclimating to living in a home quickly, and her potty training is coming along quite nicely. She would love a fenced in yard to play and explore safely, and would prefer humans who are not gone for long hours. All children in the home should be at least six years of age. Shea was rather underweight when we brought her into foster care but we are working on getting her back up to her normal range. She will be spayed and micro-chipped prior to adoption and she is current on vaccines and preventative medications.
