Lady's Story...
Name: Lady
Sex: Female
Breed: Husky/Lab mix
Age: 4 years
Weight: approx. 60 lbs
Good with: People and dogs. Not tested with cats

This is Lady and she is a husky/lab mix. We believe she is around 4 or 5 years old. She is wonderful around other dogs and is a very calm girl. She spent most of her life tied to a carport. Lady is now looking for a family who will love and show her what it means to be part of a family!

Lady enjoys marrow bones and tennis balls! She loves playing with her humans, belly rubs, naps on the couch, walks and car rides. So far she hasn't found a food she really likes yet, but will eat her food with a little turkey gravy on top. She's a pretty smart girl!

She did not do well left alone in a crate, but is well behaved when left out in the house.

This pretty girl is still getting used to living in a house so more updates to come! Are you the perfect family to show her all the love?

We can only adopt in the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Boston Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
