Yeah, I am a good-looking guy, and I am sweet and loving too! In fact, I am one big, ‘ole, sweet, goofball. But I have a serious side; I am smart, patient, low energy, and I love, love, love people and other dogs. If I have a fault, it is I am so friendly! My foster mom says I am a perfect boy, but if I see a new person, I h-a-v-e t-o m-e-e-t them. You see, I am the self-appointed ambassador for all dogs, especially those like me! You know...big, bulldog looking, hunks of muscle and good looks, dogs like me!

My name is Zoom, but you can call me Lover Boy, Hunk, Ambassador Zoom...actually, you can call me anything if you give me some love and attention...and maybe a belly rub. I am a somewhere between 4-5-years old (rabies tag says 5-years, vet and shelter say 4-years old), but heck, I am in the prime of my life. I am a little on the large size at 72 pounds, but I still want to be a lap dog. I’ll chew on the occasional bone or play with a toy you give to me, but I’m not obsessed with them. I am already house and crate trained, I know commands like sit, down and heel, and I walk really well on my leash (except when I see a person...then I pull a little because I am an Ambassador, and I have to greet everyone). I’m pretty low energy and I don’t need a lot of exercise. And I don’t even mind cats...in fact, my foster mom’s cat hissed at me, and I decided to leave the room...cats are pretty scary.

And I take my Ambassador position very seriously. I have experience as a reading dog (I let kids read to me and I pay very close attention), and I bet I could ace the Canine Good Citizen test. So maybe you can help me continue my role by letting me help kids, or visit retirement homes. Who knows, maybe I can become a real therapy dog?

I know you are thinking, is there anything wrong with this dog? Well, there really isn’t...once I finish my heart worm treatment, I will be even better than new. So, come on, fill out an adoption application and come meet me. I am anxious to get started with my “ambassadoring!”

About Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in Georgia. We operate through a network of foster homes in the metro Atlanta area.

Our efforts are funded by tax-deductible contributions from compassionate people and organizations who care and want to help make a difference... one pet at a time.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our animals are in our network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Please go to www.facebook.com/angelsrescue/events to see our schedule of adoption events, or email inquiry@angelsrescue.org if you are interested in a specific dog.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on www.angelsrescue.org.
Your application will be assigned to someone in our organization that will review it and contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
