Maureen's Story...
Maureen is an incredible 3-year-old girl who will make an amazing addition to a loving home. She came in with a male Dobie and we assume they were a breeding pair because she had clearly had a litter recently. Though they like each other, they aren't really bonded so we can easily place them separately. Maureen loves other dogs, loves to play and makes friends easily. We think she could like with most other dogs but would especially enjoy a playmate that she could dart around the yard with. She even did really well when we introduced her to cats! She is equally sweet with people and adapts well to new environments. We don't know how much training she has had but we are working with her on crate training so she can make a smooth transition into a home. She is all natural so you will have to love her tail and floppy ears but her body isn't as saggy as it was in these pictures. With some work, we think Maureen will make a great family dog or a fun addition to just about any home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maureen, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
