Peter's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Peter's Story...
Peter is a shy and sweet little guy. He is still a bit timid about the world around him, but loves to be held and cuddled. He also loves to play with jingle balls. He does well with his brothers, Blyton and Peter, but is still a bit shy of other cats and dogs. We think he would do well in a quieter home and with a slow introduction to other pets. He needs some time to adjust to his environment, but once he warms up he will be a cuddlebug with a big purr to share.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peter, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
