Sahara's Story...
Lovely Sahara just arrived so we are still evaluating her. She is a gorgeous girl. Her red and black coat just shines in the sun and is soft and silky. She seems to have a lot of energy but is calming down quite a bit. She responds to basic commands and seems eager to please and to learn. She pulled quite a bit at first but is responding well. She gets along well with her foster brothers and sisters, and shows a little interest in playing with a ball. Sahara is waiting to meet you! We will update as we learn more about this gorgeous young lady.

2-3 years old
Heartworm negative

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sahara, a Dripping Springs German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Dripping Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Dripping Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dripping Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dripping Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dripping Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
