Shorty is a 4 year old Shih Tzu mix. He is hypoallergenic. He is good with other dogs both big and small. He was rescued from the County shelter. He was very scared, territorial, and protective. It was very sad that Shorty had such a hard time trusting people. He was a stray when brought to County so we are unsure of his rough past and what made him to untrustworthy. AZSDR wanted to try everything to help Shorty. With a lot of help from Lorenzo's Dog Training Team, Shorty received professional training. Shorty is getting a chance to be a very well behaved boy. Shorty is in Lorenzo Boarding/Training behavior modification program which will teach him everything from basic manners to learning to accept new people more openly. We are hoping that by the time he graduates he will have a FOREVER FAMILY or FOSTER waiting for him. With Shortys adoption, Lorenzo's Dog Training Team has offered 3 free handling sessions. AZ Small Dog Rescue is so grateful that Shorty had this opportunity. He is now a very behaved boy!! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, chipped, vet checked, licensed, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. His adoption fee is $160. To meet him, contact Lisa 602-918-9431
