Willow's Story...
Willow is a 7-month-old Beagle x Pug x Shepherd mix. She is a nice, medium size and should be about 40-50 lbs when fully grown.
Willow is a smart girl who knows some basic commands and picks up on new things quickly. She is doing well with housetraining and crate training.
Willow is a high energy girl who will need an active household that has a lot of time to spend with her. She is fostered with other dogs, and gets along well, though the older dogs do not always want to engage in her playful antics.
Willow's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, current vaccinations, current de-wormings, microchip, a leash, collar, and some food. Adoption forms can be found at www.cleoskarmacaninerescue.com and must be submitted prior to visiting the dogs. Willow will be available to go to a new home after September 26th, 2016.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Duchess Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Duchess, or seeking a Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Duchess.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duchess already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duchess breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duchess paves the way for another one to be saved.
