Jezebel's Story...
"Jezebel" is a beautiful young adult (perhaps 2-year old) female Redbone Coonhound who arrived at the HSOV on September 22, 2016 after she was picked up in the New Matamoras, Ohio area. This gorgeous girl has an auburn short smoth coat, a long body, a long tail, and a classic Redbone Coonhound face with extra-long red velvet ears. "Jezebel" has a delightful Hound personality and was such a sweetheart while she had her glamour photos taken. She loved attention and especially enjoyed the mini back massages from the volunteer who helped her during her outdoor photo session :) "Jezebel" walks fairly well on a leash. She weighs approximately 60 lbs. "Jezebel" will be available for adoption on September 25, 2016 if she is not reclaimed before that date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jezebel, a Marietta Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
