Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Owen is an awesome 6 yr old 24 lb adorable Pug. He was picked up as stray and we figure his owners either lost him on purpose or were just too embarrassed to claim him. We pulled him as soon as we could. Sweet Owen had not been taken care of for quite some time and our vets suspect he was always or had been turned in to and outside dog. He actually seems surprised every time he gets to come back in the house! He sure is loving the attention now. When found he had bad skin, a horrible ear infection and untreated KCS. He got a couple baths, his ear infection is being treated and now that his eyes are being taken care of he feels soooo much better. KCS, also known as dry eye, is often seen in Pugs but is extremely easy to manage with affordable eye drops (he will need these eye drops forever).
We have marked Owen special needs because, in addition to his KCS, he is deaf and he is partially blind in one eye. He is still the sweetest thing you ever did meet and he loves loves loves to be scratched right above his tail. He likes people and he likes playing. Owen needs a home with access to a securely fenced yard. He is crate trained and working on his housetraining.
Owen is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. All he needs now is the perfect home!
