My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

They call me your typical goofball and I just really just don't see it?

I am an ~ 1.5 year old boxer mix, they think I am mixed with setter or spaniel aka a Fluffy Boxer. Funny thing, my foster mom googled fluffy boxer pictures as a joke and a long lost relative popped up? I know there is no such thing but Miss Beth is so funny. I am one proud all american mutt, a rescue that knows I was saved.

I was one of the lucky ones, Animal Control took action when they received a call about some neglected dogs. They confiscated my sister (or mom) and I. We were tied up outside, surviving on rocks and chewing on our kennel and chain. My front teeth are worn down but wouldn't yours be too if no one fed you and you only had rocks to chew? They checked them out and I have no pain and I have my very important back chewing teeth. I am slowly gaining the weight back. I am 36 lbs (should be ~40) and I was less than 28 lbs just 5-6 weeks ago when the shelter asked for Miss Beth's help. (Mom beth has a picture of my new family is interested)

I am learning a home, I enjoy the time with my furry foster siblings, I am good in a crate and am basically the bubba in my new foster home. Couches are new and kinda cool, going upstairs (inside) isn't something I know yet but heading to the yard from
the deck I have down pat. I am learning leash work but I am better at leaving than heading back though I am slowly getting it. I would love a fenced yard and even a 2 or four legged active companion. (Look for my gal pal Felicia, a fluffy boxer, soon)

I am available for adoption through RBF, Recycled Best Friends and Pooches on the move. Miss Beth says one look at my crooked goofy grin and you will fall in love.
