Rose Blossom's Story...
It’s a cruel world for a puppy left on the streets to fend for itself.

Rose Blossom was not even 3 month old when our street team witnessed her getting hit by car. The car didn’t stop! The driver didn’t care to check on her! She surely was lucky that we were around to come to her aid that day.

She wasn’t used to the human touch and quite fearful at first. You can see in her rescue video she held her breath and barely moved. She was taken to the vet immediately and diagnosed with sarcoptic mange and a fractured leg. Luckily, one of our great foster moms stepped up to the plate and said she will show Rose Blossom what it means to be loved and cared for. Within no time Rose Blossom was cleared of the mange and came around quickly. She now does not want to leave her foster mom’s side and is eager to please.

She loves all people and gets along great with every dog that crosses her way. Her foster mom said that Rose did ok with her cat but if the cat was to run from her then Rose would chase it too. She is house & crate trained and sits by the door if she needs to go potty. She is still a puppy but has learned quickly to take her business outside.

Unfortunately, her foster mom travels quite often for work and Rose Blossom will have to go into boarding if we cannot find her another place to go to soon. The kennel is not a place for a fragile puppy that is just learning to enjoy live. It will crush her having to sit behind bars all day.

Can you be her rescue angel and let her enjoy being a puppy? A puppy that gets to do all those wonderful things it is supposed to do. Let her nap on your lap, play with toys, possibly even play with other furry sibling and let her spend time in your yard trying to catch butterflies. She surely would love to spend the nights in a comfy dog bed, safe and sound with you around. Instead of having to be in a cold kennel all by herself.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose Blossom, a Denver Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Denver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
