My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little tiny Libby is a 3 1/2 year old chihuahua that you just can't help but fall in love with. She came to us in May from our Newark facility after she was found as a stray and she's been battling a weight problem for a while, but she's doing fantastic now and ready for a fabulous home of her own. Libby has had trouble keeping weight on but after several diagnostic tests and a thorough work up by our veterinarian, no good reason was found for her sensitive tummy. She is now on a prescription diet and will most likely need to stay on it but that is a small price to pay for the huge amount of joy and happiness that Libby will bring you. Libby is an absolute doll. She is so super sweet and cuddly and she just wants to be held and pampered. She's quite the little lady that prefers being carried as opposed to walking. She's very delicate and polite and is not much into playing with other dogs. She can get along just fine with another smaller dog, as long as they don't crowd her or try to roughhouse her......she's too much of a lady for that nonsense. Libby would be very content to be your little lap dog and snuggle up with you forever if you'll give her the good home she's dreaming of. File#26274 5/16/16
