Oprah (Spayed)'s Story...
"Oprah" is a beautiful female kitten who was surrendered by her owner on June 30, 2016 along with her six siblings (Octavia, Olaf, Ollie, Olympia, Opie, and Oscar). They were 2-months old when they entered our shelter. This lovely young lady has a white-and-gray tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with a pink nose. "Oprah" has a sweet, playful personality. She posed like a little 'Kitten Fancy' model during her photo session. "Oprah" is enjoying the freedom of being with all of her siblings in their own 'apartment' adjacent to our lobby :) "Oprah" was spayed on September 21, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. Her brother "Oscar" was neutered on the same day, so they would now be available to adopt as a pair <3

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oprah (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
