found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
Sheffield was in a foster home with kids ages 3 and 6, and did really well with them. His foster mom says he is the sweetest of all his siblings, and would make a wonderful family dog. Sheffield loves attention: he will crawl up in your lap, roll over for a belly rub, then go to sleep. He is not much or a barker or chewer, and has a nice, low, energy level. He was sleeping quietly through the night in a crate with his brother-- without an accident--and is well on his way to being house-trained. He also walks nicely on a leash.
Sheffield is now at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road in Wilmette, where you can meet him during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750, www.wilmettepetcenter.com). He is so cute and friendly you will want to take him home, but please know you need to submit an application.
Because he is so young, Sheffield will need someone home at least part of the day to keep him on a potty schedule and give him those belly rubs we know he loves! Puppy obedience school is also a requirement for adoption.
Sheffield's adoption fee of $375 includes: vet exam, skin culture (negative), distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, heart worm preventative, flea/tick preventative, routine deworming, microchip and neuter.
