Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Denver! He's a 9 month old Blue Heeler/Rat Terrier mix that was going through training to be a service dog. He already knows his basic commands and how to open doors. Unfortunately his owner became too ill to care for him any longer and surrendered him to Friendship. Denver gets along great with other dogs but small dogs may be questionable because of his energy level. He loves kids too. It's not known if he likes cats or not. Denver is very playful and active. He would love a home with a fenced in yard to run and play and a family that will include him in their activities. Denver is a great dog!
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
