Hi, my name is CINDERS and I would love to meet you. I am a Neutered Male Domestic Shorthair. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 2 months old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 03, 2016.

Cinders is a sweet guy who was brought in by his family who didnt have the time or patience to give him the attention he needs.
If you are looking for a wonderful, sweet, good natured cat, then look no further. He is gentle and will regularly provide `kitty kisses` by sniffing your face, hands, and hair. He is a traditional classic black cat with big yellow eyes. His fur is silky and his temperament gentle. He makes little noises when you approach to verbally interact. He does require regular affection so a home with a family member around often would be best for him. Cinders is also very picky about his litter box so a savvy family who will be sure to keep it clean and offer multiple potty boxes is what he needs to be successful in your home. If you are looking for a wonderful young beautiful black cat that will provide you with years of love and affection, then look no further. Cinders anxiously awaits your love and affection. Please email my foster mom at if you are interested.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters are asked to fill out a brief survey to help match them with the pet that is right for them.
Adoption fees vary, but the typical fees are: Cats - $60, Dogs - $140, and Rabbits - $75. Pet license fees may also be charged. Dogs, cats and rabbits are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, and dogs and cats are microchipped, and receive initial vaccinations. More information about adoption can be found at
