Alexander's Story...
Breed: Some sort of dwarf mix
Size: Small size male
DOB: Approximately 3/2016, he's not very old
Reason in Rescue: This guy was found in the woods with five other bunnies after being dumped :( Three of them came to our rescue!
Personality: Despite his ordeal, he's a very sweet boy! Very friendly and outgoing and likes face rubbed and does not mind being picked up. He's also very good with his litter box. Arianna is either his mom or his bond mate as they were very close when running loose outside. We may try and bond them again when they are both spayed and neutered.
Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes his neuter and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexander, a Edinburg Dwarf was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dwarf for sale in Edinburg, or seeking a Dwarf from a breeder in Edinburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edinburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edinburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dwarf breeders who help with Dwarf rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edinburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
