Nala's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Nala's Story...
Nala and her brother Pharaoh were on their way to being posted on Craigslist until their foster agreed to take them. The foster has nothing but great things to say about them. They are inside, crate trained, potty trained and leash trained. The foster is also working on basic commands. There are kittens and other dogs in the house Nala is not bothered by any of them. Nala is sweet, calm and a little shy until she knows her people. She is a lot smaller than her brother, weighing 42lbs. The foster feels that she is a little under weigh and is working on fattening her up a little! Nala is 1 year and 4 months old and would be perfect for any family. All potential adopters will be screened by the foster and the adoption coordinator.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Beacon Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Beacon, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Beacon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beacon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beacon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beacon paves the way for another one to be saved.
