Baratheon is a very affectionate and handsome Bull Mastiff/American Pitbull Terrier that is approximately 3 years old, who weighs about 66 lbs. He is neutered, UTD on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. Baratheon is potty trained, kennel/crate trained, is GREAT with people and kids, with most dogs (he is afraid of Alpha dogs and does absolutely fantastic with all other dogs), and with cats. Baratheon loves to be petted and he loves to play with his dog friends and cuddle with his people friends. He is friendly and sweet natured, walks well on the leash and rides well in a car. Baratheon enjoys both going on adventures and lazing around on the couch! He just wants a family of his own to love!
Baratheon had a very sad thing happen to him right before we got him. Poor Baratheon has a bit of a limp, so we took him to the vet for X-rays to make sure he was OK. We found out then that the reason he has a limp is because he was shot in his back foot with a 22. The bullet is still in his foot, and because of how his body healed around it, it can no longer be removed. He is physically ok, he has a limp and will most likely develop arthritis in that foot when he is a senior, but he does not currently suffer from any pain.
Baratheon was heartworm positive at Aiken Co Animal Shelter where HeartBeat then rescued him and then treated him for heartworms!
Baratheon is currently living with a foster home and looking for his forever home!
Baratheon's adoption fee is $100 and he is available for adoption via Shelter Animals Advocates/The Heartbeat Goes On.
