Butch's Story...
My name is Butch and I am looking for an adult companion who has time for long walks and hikes. I would appreciate a human that has had some experience with my kind and have a calm demeanor.
My favorite things are long walks in the woods, fields, trails and pretty much anywhere. I will sit for food and for my companion to open doors. I love having my head out a window when your car goes down the road even if is raining. I get excited and will bark at the cows, dogs and of course squirrels.
I believe in being polite to the other dogs and people that I meet on my travels. I save my friendliness for my special companion. What I like to hear is what a good companion I am while getting my stomach rubbed. After a walk and feeding I will go outside or find a place to lay down I don't think I have to with my companion all the time and we will find each other later for another adventure.
Though I like most everything about humans the little ones are hard to predict and I am not use to having them around so if you can leave the little humans out of the house I would appreciate it, not that I can't be nice, I just can't live with them. With other dogs I do fine but wouldn't it be nice if I was the only one.
Everyone wants to know how old I am but it is a guess because dog calendars and people calendars are very different but I think I am 5 to 6 years in human, 74lbs of loyalty, and I bark like hound have the coat and markings of Rottweiler.
Well, I hope this works out for the best but in the mean time I'm going for a walk. See you later, squirrel!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butch, a Bellingham Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
