Special adoption considerations:  Graham is a bit shy and would do best in a home with another dog to show him the ropes!

Hi There!  My name is Graham!  I am a very handsome lab mix looking for a great home!  Do you think you could open your home to me?

A little more about me:  I am about 1 year old which means I am most likely down growing and out of that puppy stage.  However, I would still love some training, so that I can take part in all those fun activities that city pups get to do!  I would love to be able to go on trips to the dog park and walks or jogs with my new family!  After that we can snuggle up and watch netflix, I will even let you decide what shows to binge watch!

I must admit that I am a little shy and I would do best in a home with another confident brother or sister dog who can show me the ropes and put me at ease!   Additionally , I am not exactly sure how I feel about cats, but the nice people at Lucky Dog said they would be happy to find out for you!

Foster Update November 21, 2016

He LOVES running around the back yard and playing fetch. He can literallyhurdle my golden retrievers and runs so fast! He is very playful with my dogs, he loves chasing them and being chased, he does not play very rough, but he may be more comfortable wrestling as he gets settled, it takes him a while to get really comfortable in his environment.  It took him a few weeks but now he lays on his back and wants lots of belly rubs, he is very snugly in the mornings, he is just the sweetest!

Like most shelter dogs, Graham may need a refresher on house training.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Annie Lurth at !

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
