Roger's Info...

Roger's Story...
Roger is a 1 year old neutered domestic short haired, brown tabby. Roger spent his whole life outdoors and scared of people. He was cared for by people in his neighborhood, but he was never confident enough to be affectionate around them, so he was assumed to be feral. Roger was trapped in April through our TS/NR program, Good Felines. Roger had his left ear tipped (the universal symbol for an outdoor neutered cat) during his neuter surgery because our team expected to release him to his outside home. While recovering from his neuter, however, Roger learned to trust human interaction. Now he is a healthy, happy tom who is ready to find a forever family to love! Roger is very affectionate. He gets so excited for cuddle time that he starts to slobber! Roger’s favorite thing to do is walk on his kitty harness and ask for snuggles! Roger is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and looking for his forever home. He’d be happy in a home with other cats, but he isn’t fond of dogs, yet. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roger, a Baytown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Baytown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Baytown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baytown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baytown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baytown paves the way for another one to be saved.
