This beautiful girl is Moxie. She is a Lynx Pointe Siamese. She was found inside of an empty rental property in the middle of the winter and very pregnant. Her finders were able to get her the medical care she needed and got her up to date on her vaccinations. After her babies were born they were eventually able to find homes of their own, but Mom is still waiting. She has been around large dogs and another cat, as well as a few children. She is a small girl at only 6.5 pounds and is very sweet! Due to an obstructed windpipe, that may be a birth defect, Moxie's vet decided it would not be a good idea for her to be spayed, as her throat may not be able to tolerate intubation. For this reason, MOXIE MUST BE AN INDOOR CAT ONLY!
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
