Sheena's Story...
My name is Sheena, but you could also call me sweetie, cutie, or just adorable! I just might be your dream come true. I am a beautiful, playful, and affectionate youngster. I still have growing up to do, but I am smart, loyal, and eager to learn. I am at a great age to go hard and heavy on my training so that I can become the most wonderful family dog. I am already housebroken and get along well with sturdy children and other dogs, so a home so a home with those will be fine by me—but just no cats for me please My name is Sheena, but you can just call me your new best friend. 1 year old-46lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes spay, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheena, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
