Tomasina's Story...
Date of Birth: 05/1997 Tomasina was surrendered by her owner. She had been attached by other cats and had an eye injury which required surgery. She has adapted very well to having one big beautiful blue eye. Tomasina is very talkative and playful. She loves to be brushed and groomed. At the moment she has a lion cut. Her coat is usually long and dense. She feels more frisky now. Tomasina is fostered in a multi-cat home and gets along with both male and female cats. Since she is a senior, she would do best in a home with no children or dogs. If you are interested in meeting her please contact; Brenda 925-759-4026 or email Adoption fee: $100. Includes (at the minimum) spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccine, FeLV/FIV testing (FIV cannot be done until 4-months old).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tomasina, a Walnut Creek Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
