Iris's Story...
05/15/2009

'Iris' sees the world a little differently through her cute blue
crossed eyes. The world sees her as a lovely lilac-point Siamese cat.
But she sees herself as a queen who doesn't wish to share her domain
with another cat. This spayed declawed cat is 3 - 5 years old. She was
abandoned when her owners moved about a year ago. Kind neighbors have
taken her in, but Iris bullies their resident cat, so she needs to
find her own loving single-cat home. She's affectionate and a warm bed
companion, and would be happy to make her royal residence in your
indoor-only home. Adoption fee of $100 to Community Concern for Cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Iris, a Walnut Creek Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
