Sparky's Story...
Birthdate: Nov, 2008

Sparky is a sweet, loveable kitten He was found running around a county building with some older and wiser cats where he was apparently abandoned. He is kind of shy at first, but is destined to be a cuddler and a lap cat. He loves to be held and he loves to have his face kissed. He is docile and submissive around other cats and kittens, so he would be a great addition to your cat family. He loves to have his tummy rubbed, too. This kitten is not a good candidate for an active home with children and dogs. This kitten is leukemia tested, vaccinated, neutered and ready to go to his dream home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Walnut Creek Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
