Clementine's Story...

Little Clementine has had quite the journey. She was abandoned in a State Park early this Septemeber. Luckily an animal loving hiker spotted her and brought this little girl to a safe haven. She is estimated around 3-4 months old, she will be fully vetted and spayed by the end of September. Little Clementine is a ball of energy and playfulness. She loves pouncing on her other kitty friends and playing with the dogs tail while hes napping. Which always jolts him awake. Clementine loves eating her meals , shes even a little bit of a begger always asking for more. One thing shes really good at is self entertainment. That girl knows how to keep herself busy and is very independent. She enjoys roaming the house like a little tiger searching for her next adventure. She is extremely light and agile also, so whenever she gets the chance to jump up on my shoulders she does. Clementine is ready to grow with her forever family! Contact if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clementine, a Island Lake American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Island Lake, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Island Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Island Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Island Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Island Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
